City Council Candidates On Noise Limits

In a recent forum, City Council candidates Mike Martinez and Jose "Joe" Quintero were asked about their thoughts on the recent debacle with outdoor live music sound limits as pertaining to restaurants.

Mr. Martinez seems to express the idea that decibel limits be determined on a case-by-case basis, determine by the level of street noise. However this idea was not expressed through his recent proposed ordinance, which only helps out businesses in certain districts, which Freddie's and Guero's Taco Bar do not reside in.

Mr. Quintero went way off topic in his answer, rambling on and on incoherently and finally stating, "These rules are regulations are going to just drive people out of here."
